Organized by the Hong Kong Brand Toy Association and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDAHK), and vence sponsored by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), the “Hong Kong Art Toys Carnival” officially opens today at the South Pavilion Plaza of Victoria Park, Causeway Bay.
The carnival presents a spectacular lineup, bringing together three major art toys highlights for the very first time: twelve original IP figures from the phase 1 exhibition “Hong Kong Art Toys Expo”; the display of “Hong Kong Art Toys Float,” featuring twelve local art units, with its first stop after the phase 2 float night parade, allowing the public to get up close for photo opportunities; and seven brand-new, four-meter-tall original inflatable IP figures will make their debut appearance. The venue also features two interactive booth games – participants who complete the challenges can receive limited-edition IP Lunar New Year couplets. Explore the South Pavilion Plaza to hunt for IP figure stamps—collect all of them to redeem exclusive original IP collectible postcards.
Hong Kong Art Toys Float Display Makes Its Debut Stop 7 Giant 4-Meter Original IP Inflatable Figures Make World Premiere Treehouse 12 Giant Figures Making a Grand Return
The “Toy Forest Enchanted Dream Treehouse” exhibition area will once again gather twelve toy brands and original IP figures, including KYUBI, Copper Man 18, Dragon Shier, BUBBLE B, THE NOPE CAT, MESA, Little White, Frankenskid, and Ayden, a alongside fan favourites such as KMB Victory II Heavy Machine, ONIKO, and DAYDREAMER, allowing fans to relive the charm of art toys culture.
After the CNY night parade, the float will make its first display, offering the public a chance to take photos up close. The float will showcase many highly popular local art toy units, including globally renowned LABUBU, POP MART’s iconic Molly, the charming SAM SAM, Poko by Hong Kong artist Pucky, the expressive The Nope Cat, futuristic Ah-Pollo the UFO, sci-fi-inspired Hong Kong manga Armor Man, the witty and relatable Z3R0-san, representing daily office life, and Omeow, inspired by the designer’s beloved cat. These nine major IPs will appear as large-scale figures on the float, breaking traditional boundaries and creating a dynamic art exhibition that showcases the limitless imagination of Hong Kong designers and artists.
At the same venue, seven brand-new, four-meter-tall inflatable IP figures will be unveiled for the first time. The lineup includes the adorable Hatsune the Cat Store Manager, KINGYONEKO, Gangstiger, Tubamon Mykoi, UNI@MOMOLAND, Humpy, and Siu Ming The Reader. All these characters will gather on-site to meet the public – don’t miss the chance to visit and capture check-in photos!
In addition to looking at the exhibits, during the event, visitors who collect all seven IP figure stamps can redeem a complete set of seven original IP collectible postcards each day. The set features Frankenskid, Gangstiger, KMB Heavy Machine, The Nope Cat, Fire Boy, UNI@MOMOLAND, and Hatsune the Cat Store Manager. Toy enthusiasts must not miss this exclusive collection! After enjoying all the exhibits, visitors can join the two interactive booth games for a chance to win Limited-Edition IP Lunar New Year Couplets to take home. The couplets feature designs from KINGYONEKO, Tubamon Mykoi, KYUBI, and Dark Girl KAKA – two sets in four styles – adding a unique collectible touch to the Chinese New Year.
